Family picture

We have to make very concerted efforts to get a picture with us all in it these days. We have tons and tons of just the girls or just Will or Will and the girls or me and the girls or Andrew and Will or Andrew and the girls etc....... but every once in awhile someone nice (in this case Grandpa S.) takes a picture of us all together. This gives us a great sense of identity. Especially when it works out that we're all fairly color-coordinated. (Andrew must not have gotten the "orange, green or white" memo)   : )

Roughin' it

This was our first camping experience with kids (well, actually we cheated and only brought

1 kid) But still, it was the real deal: no bathrooms, no running water, no comfy beds etc.
Will loved it but Andrew and i were, for the most part, happy we only spent one night! : ) However, the fact that we went with some great friends who also has a young child and who also did most of the food prep work, was a huge factor in making it well-worth the sleep deprivation and other camping inconveniences. :)

Even bigger accomplishment!

The picture of the 6 cousins went so well, we decided to go further and get all 10 of us with Nana as an added bonus! And believe it or not, it only took 2 tries to get all eyes [mostly] open and all faces [mostly] happy looking! woohoo

(actually, it's probably really not the "cutest ever" but it is definitely the best out of the 20+ shots we took that day! It's a major big challenge to get 6 kids to not only sit still at the same time but too look rational as well! :)
